This week I decided to try something new with my hair since I figured out the cut I want will take forever so might as well work with what I have, right?
So match the clothes to the hair, match the makeup to the clothes, and BAM! You got yourself a Goth Glam Shorty! And it feels fabulous! I feel like I'm really being myself for once.. It's a magnificent feeling! And if you ever feel like figuring out why, go on YouTube and check out The Momo Zone... it's a channel on the site run by a man nicknamed Momo who is based in Montreal Quebec right here in Canada. Awesome show and really friendly people. The clips just enhanced the things I've been thinking about an feeling lately, so I decided to go for it for once. Very glad I did. I don't regret any of what I've been doing and saying lately.
Basically... it says to be yourself, experiment, have fun, and let your cares melt away. Be optimistic. Or at least strive for feeling good in your own skin.
So anyways... The title "Goth Glam Chick" was given to me by my friend Dave. He took a look at the recent pics I have of myself and immediately that's what he started calling me. And he says "there's no NO... That's what it is and there's no denying it." So yeah... Guess I'm a Goth Glam Rock Chick Groupie in his exact words! LMAO!
So here is what it looks like:

And here is the steps I do.
First... I do a "peacock" effect with my hair... starting in the middle like so:

Yes... that is 8 inches of thick hair goodness. I love my hairpsray.
So then I peacock it out a little... Like so:

That is for Jay, lol. He wanted a peacock mohawk... he got it, lol. Sorta...
Anyways... then a few more sprays and an extra headband to push the ends down and later.... Tada!!! :
And here is the "Goth Glam" stuff.
I wore dark blue jeans and a black shirt with pearl buttons on it, so my eyeshadow was black, dark blue, and white graded upwards as so. I also had some lipgloss but not much.

The of course there's a small bit more of hairspray to go on. I have thick hair so I had to straighten everything before I styled it the way I wanted to.

And there you have it!

Goth Glam at it's Easter Sunday best!
I could have gone more "all out" but I didn't feel like it. But it's on my TO DO LIST for the next time I head out with friends... So long as there isn't much wind! Lol!
The day went on pretty smoothly. It wasn't as fun as it could have been, but hey... It's Easter... Some people are very close to their families... I'm not, but that shouldn't make me force anyone else to stop. SO Happy Easter, everyone!
Next Sunday is supposed to be "interview day" so we'll see what happens at that point, lol.
Eat some chocolate for me!
