All In The Name Of Art

It's Sunday! What does that mean? Another Sunday episode! Wooo! Only 3 or 4 more shows left! Are you antsy for the finale yet? haha!

The morning started when I woke up shortly after 7 (quite shortly) and I checked the mirror. I looked like an effing corpse! I mean like... Holy cannoli! All around my eyes was very very dark circles. So I decided I needed to fix that. And my hair was showing signs of not wanting to cooperate, and surely enough, my hair won the battle this morning and I went with my natural curliness. Yuck! But evs.

So I got ready as I normally do, brushed my teeth extra long to make sure I could make up a bit for the week and to make sure there was NO WAY that I was going to have bad breath. I also lost the battle against my hair and had a type of 'fro going on. I also caked on the makeup like never before. Hid everything, so that was good.

Went to pick up the kiddies and went to bowling. Got there and it was like an instant upper. I felt good... Needed that.

Got a few compliments here and there very quietly, which was kinda nice, but I just HAD to follow up with why I look different. They either nodded or rolled their eyes... Which I quite expected, honestly. But one dude went further than that and made a really obvious compliment. Shoeboy. It was sweet, but I could see Birdie constantly giving us the "winkwinknudgenudge" look with her eyes after that... And I steered clear as much as I could and kept my mouth shut, too.

I bowled against Mugzie... which was cool. She's such a little sweetheart. Bless her cotton socks. And she's really creative. She showed me the ideas that she and a friend have been coming up with for stories. She's definitely got a lot of potential in anything she wants to do.

And there was a lot of talk about hockey, tattoos and piercings, and well... "mystical" things, I guess. It was cool.

So all in all, my bowling sucked, and it sucked being far away from my other friends, but it went well.

I got Shoeboy to sacrifice the soul of his hands in the name of art, and he gladly and quickly agreed! Woo! :-) Makes my day. OH! We talked about that, too, haha!

So bless Mel's cottonsocks, too, since she brought her camera AND batteries... which stupid me only realised I forgot my own at home once we got to the corner of my street to head out. It was too late to turn back, but thankfully Mel's brain works a little better than mine first thing in the morning.

So while waiting for Mel... I snapped a few pics. These are mine. I hate cell quality pics. It's so evident why!

Shoeboy was laughing at some jokes Birdie was saying. She could very well be the queen of YukYuks!

Megan looked so cute sippin on her drink so I had to try and take a pic... My cell has TERRIBLE shutter speed, though.

Photobucket

And well... Had to snap another of Shoeboy... One with a proper smile, lol. Cell soooo sucked for this!

Photobucket

And I got some of Birdie and Mugzie together, but I'm keeping that for my private little collection.

Now for Mel's pics. Only posting the links, because the files are really big. I want a cam, dammit!

Mugzie was wired... No sleep mixed with sugar... Nearly lethal combination! haha! But poor Sandy was NOT feeling the day. It wasn't such a good morning for her, poor girl... Guys can be DINKS (teehee)!

And then Mel snaps an action shot! haha!

And then there's Mel with Shoeboy...

Teehee... Mel... you looked SO happy ;-) bahahaha!

And then I went in for my pic with Shoeboy... And Mel's bro had to go and ruin the fun. Shoeboy made me feel bad because he decided to crouch to be at my head level and I bet that wasn't too comfy! LOL!

And then we went in for another one. Much better. We were our regular heights and no messing up the pic, haha! Poor Eric... I kinda slapped his arm a little hard to teach him the error of his ways. Hope you aren't hurt like your sis! (Same arm, too, omg!)

And so Mel and Sandy took off together to chill, I took off to drop off the kiddies at their place, and then was left to my lonesome at home... Snapped MORE pics there, lol.

So... waiting in the van to get to our parking spot...

Photobucket

And then walking to my apartment building, I decided to try taking some pics... checking how the lighting is. I have to say I officially LOVE the lighting in my underground parking. I will definitely snap some more pics down there again, lol. Look at the lighting on this! Perfect!

And so... that concludes this episode. Hope you liked!

Keep tuned in for more... perhaps during the week... perhaps only on next Sunday. We'll see!

Let The Playoffs Begin!!

A new Sunday episode! Woo! You knew it was coming, lol.

Well let's start with the fact that I had nearly no sleep once again. Let's not go into details, but I was up really late and then I couldn't even stay asleep longer than 45 minutes at a time, and decided to completely get up and stay up by 6:45 am. Nuts? Just a little, but at least I had all the time I needed to get ready nicely and even have breakfast for once! Guess it's just what the doctor ordered because I got more and more alert as the morning progressed and didn't feel as sick to my stomach as when I first woke up. This proved to be a very good thing during the bowling game as I had plenty an opportunity to throw up all over the wrong person to embarrass mysef in front of. So I was safe.

Oh... I kind of like my team. I have someone from my previous team with me as well as someone that I can get along with, but from what I've seen... I'm going to be the only girl bowling on my team. It sucks, but I just have to live with it.

My friends ended up on the same team as each other, as well as landing some extra team eye candy for them, so I guess that's good. The dude is personally not my taste, especially since I know a few tidbits about him that aren't to my liking, but no one needs to know that stuff for now... Let them drool... so long as I don't step in their slobber and get sticky shoesoles, I'll be fine with it.

One of my friends brought her boyfriend over and it became this not-so-happy place to be. It pissed off quite a few heads. I guess I was pissed, too, because I started violently picking on her boyfriend all of a sudden. First it started innocently with Eric, but he was boring and Shoeboy was behind the counter, so too hard to harass... Casey was an easy target... ish.

It didn't really help the situation, but hey... I tried.

Oh... and I got my closure, so I'm actually happy. Things are going good. Actually... things could be looking up. We'll see in May.

I miss actually having a friend on my team, but it's only for 4 more weeks... So I can deal with it just fine. Sigh... 4 more weeks and then I will be bowling when the moon is out and with a bottle of Smirnoff beside my purse... And actually be allowed to drink while bowling. Seems like only yesterday it was my first day of bowling and I was a scared little girl and wanted to leave ASAP. Now, 10 years later, I'm a crazy little woman who wants to stay! Gee... funny how that one changed around.

So yeah... as we were waiting for our rides/people to be done bowling, I once again whipped out my cell and used the camera feature. But I only took pictures. No video though at one point I was ready to use video because Shoeboy was being mean and wouldn't stop dancing around so I could take a picture.

So here are the pics! :

Mel HATES it when people violate the law!

Photobucket

Shoeboy wouldn't stop dancing around... but I caught him!

Photobucket

Then Mel decided to force him to pose by squashing him into her. Does he look happy or WHAT?! lol:

Photobucket

Then the lovebirds wanted pics taken... so I did it. I think they wanted it in black and white, though. Oops.

Photobucket

Photobucket

And then Megan wanted a coloured pic for her MSN

Photobucket

And then Daryl and I were left alone for a little bit and he started acting goofy, so I snapped a pic of it!

Photobucket

And a quick hug and a few waves goodbye, and it was off to catch our ride!

And that is how we end this week's episode. Tune in for more!
